EU Member States

The Member States play a very important role in relation to eCall implementation, because the eCall architecture is built on the single European emergency number 112 - and specifically, the enhanced 112 which also provides the location when an emergency call is made from a cellular phone.

Furthermore, different EU Member States have already initiated the work towards eCall implementation. Here an overview of the status of E112 and eCall in EU Member States:
