eSafety Awards 2009 - Winners

eSafety Support is honoured to announce the winners of the eSafety Achievements Awards 2009.

We congratulate them for their exceptional involvement and commitment to eSafety!

The third edition of the eSafety Awards Ceremony took place on 22 September 2009, at 3pm, at the ITS World Congress in Stockholm, Sweden, at the European Commission stand.

EC Deputy Director General Zoran Stanèiè  announced each winner and handed out the prices.

With this occasion the eSafety Awards for Marketing, Sales and Driver Training from eSafety Challenge were also handed out.

Winner Category 1 - "Lifetime Achievement" - Mr André Vits, former EC  

Winner Category 2 - "Industry/Technology" - Mr Jorg Breuer - Senior Manager Active Safety, on behalf of Daimler

Winner Category 3 - "Policy" - Mr Robbert Verweij - Senior Policy Adviser, on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat
