Dear member of the eSafety Forum,

 

As you know, at the beginning of the summer 2009 we invited you to nominate candidates for the eSafety Awards – eSafety Achievements, on three categories:

  1. Lifetime Achievements Award,
  2. Industry/ Technology Award and
  3. Policy Award. 

We would like to thank you for your nominations and inform you that we have contacted all the nominees, inviting them to confirm their willingness to run for the eSafety Awards 2009.

Seven candidates confirmed their participation in the competition for the “Lifetime Achievement” category, six for the “Industry/ Technology” and three for the “Policy Award”.

 

Who are they?

 

You are invited to discover them today and to vote for a winner in each eSafety Awards category via the eSafety Support website, at:

The online voting is open until 15th August 2009.

 

 

A couple of technical details

 

1. The voting is open only to the eSafety Forum members.

Thus, to be able to submit your vote, you will be invited to fill in your name, organization and email address.

This is only an identification procedure, we guarantee the confidentiality of your vote.

 

2. Please be aware that you can only vote once (for each Awards’ category).

 

 

eSafety Awards 2009 Ceremony

 

This is the third edition of the eSafety Awards. The Awards Ceremony will take place on 22 September 2009, at the ITS World Congress in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Awards will be handed out by a representative of the European Commission.
