Cyprus Transport and Logistics, LTD is a participating partner in the "Monitoring on Integrated Safety System" (MISS) project. MISS aims to develop an innovative platform to Monitor Integrated Safety System to dynamically sense and predict natural and infrastructure conditions in order to improve safety and efficiency of transport operations in a multienviroment scenario.

MISS aims to increase safety by enabling a just-in-time intelligent computation of an open dynamic road surveillance network. The platform will use advanced communication technologies for on-line services as well as high capacity storage for off-line services and applications - in addition to a new advanced algorithm to simulate risk assessment. The MISS adaptable platform is a mobile system explicitly designed to monitor rough environmental conditions and it will be integrated with any pre-existing legacy systems. It will enable intelligent exchange of structured information between the operational vehicles and the supervisor central centre where information will be elaborated and actions planned.

MISS aims to assist the Cyprus Authorities to enhance road safety, a critical issue in Cyprus as fatalities from road accidents have reached epidemic proportions.
