Energy absorbing materials for low impact forces. The objectives of EAMLIFE were to investigate and evaluate the energy absorption potential of cellular structures made from various materials. Project partners were: VW, Alcan International, Renault, CR Fiat, Hydro Aluminium, Österreichisches Forschungszentrum Seibersdorf, Univ. of Wien, Daimler-Benz, Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe, ARMINES, Adam Opel, BMW, MEPURA.
