ESCAPE ESCAPE's aim was to identify important areas of traffic and driver non-compliant behaviour and to assess the potential of enforcement tools - both traditional and innovative - to improve compliance and thus contribute to safety on European roads. ESCAPE was expected to prepare the groundwork for implementing European wide demonstration projects in enforcement within the 5th Framework Programme.
