PRISM

The objective of this project was to facilitate the efficient and effective development of "smart restraint systems".  This project aimed to greatly assist the development of efficient smart restraint systems, thereby reducing societal costs.  It was also expected to improve the competitiveness of the European motor industry by providing clear guidelines on functionality and evaluation requirements. This should be based on new, important, real world data, new computer models of high-risk occupants, and a thorough evaluation of high-risk scenarios using a variety of techniques.
